The Course
This year-long foundational course is aimed at those interested in (an exclusively) Goddess-Centred practice that incorporates magical activity. It is open to all individuals devoted to Goddess, regardless of sex or gender identity (or other personal characteristics). It will introduce students to at least 49 Goddesses from a range of pantheons, including Celtic, Norse, Greco-Roman, Mesopotamian, and Egyptian, and offer the opportunity for students to further develop a range of magical skills. Gods will only be mentioned in passing where they relate to Goddess mythology and will not be part of ritual practice.
Recommended Reading
Students who are new to or less experienced with magic are strongly advised to read Deborah Lipp’s introductory primer “Magical Power for Beginners” (Llewellyn Publications, 2017) before commencing the course. This book provides foundational knowledge and techniques that will be of benefit on this course and in wider magical practice.
Those who are new to the idea of Goddess may find it helpful to read Deanne Quarrie’s book “Dancing With Goddess” (CreateSpace Independent Publishing, 2010), which helps readers think about the idea of Goddess is and their own personal relationship with Her.
Studies
The main course comprises two modules, each of thirteen themed units (one per lunation). Each unit has an associated assignment:
Goddess Studies – Researching a Goddess and writing a short paper (1-2 sides of A4) on Her
Magical Skills – Planning, carrying out, and writing up a similarly short summary of an assigned magical activity.
Each module will contain information, instructions, and advice to help students tackle the tasks effectively. To aid their development, students will receive constructive feedback on their submitted papers.
To complete the course, students will be required to undertake a personal project that will involve writing an extended paper (6-8 sides of A4) on Goddesses, magic, or ritual. Suggested themes and topics will be provided, but students will be free to propose and agree a specific topic with the course tutor.
The course is intended to be accessible to all and will not require students to have perfect skills in written English. Students with creative abilities in art, poetry, etc. may wish to incorporate those skills into their papers. Whilst students need not be academically minded, there is an expectation that any resources (books, internet pages, etc.) used will be cited at the end of assignments.
Rituals
Alongside the studies, students are expected to attend online rituals each esbat (around each dark/new moon) and for each of the eight sabbats of the Pagan Wheel of the Year, resulting in 21 rituals per lunar year. Each ritual will be focused on a theme and incorporate information about and devotion to a Goddess related to that theme as well as a complementary magical or spiritual practice. These will take place on Sundays. Should there be the odd occasion when the tutor is unavailable, a PowerPoint presentation will be made available for students to work through on their own.
Enrollment
Students may enroll at any point during the year and continue their studies and practice until they have completed the full lunar year. Successful students may wish to go on to take further and more advanced courses offered by the Liminal Thealogical Seminary.

We are currently offering a special price with tuition fees of $59.99 per month payable through PayPal. In some cases, partial scholarships may be available. We are also waiving all setup fees.
