Mindfulness and Mindful Eating

We are here to help people make peace with food and create healthy relationships with eating, in mind, body and spirit. we begin by helping you develop a mindfulness practice.

Mindfulness is a practice that involves paying attention to the present moment without judgment. It can help improve mental wellbeing, increase self-awareness, and reduce stress.

Here are some ways to practice mindfulness:

Be aware of your body: Notice the sensations your body is experiencing, such as the feel of your feet on the floor or the rising and falling of your belly.

  • Be aware of your thoughts and feelings: Notice how your thoughts are driving your emotions and behavior.
  • Be aware of your surroundings: Notice the sights, sounds, and smells around you.
  • Be nonjudgmental: Don’t interpret or judge what you’re sensing and feeling.
  • Be patient: When your mind wanders, gently return your attention to your breath.

Mindfulness originated in Eastern meditation practices, but anyone can learn and practice it. When we apply what we learn about miondfulness to how we view food, we adapt to healthy ways to enjoy a guilt free relationship with food.

We are here to gelp you do that!
