Claudiney Prieto a high priest in the Apple Branch – A Dianic Tradition.  He is a pioneer of WICCA in Brazil and is considered one of the most respected and known authors in Brazil who managed to put more than one book in the Brazilian ranking of bestsellers.

His best known book, Wicca – The Religion of the Goddess, reached the mark of more than 200,000 copies sold throughout Brazil. He also wrote the ABC Book of Witchcraft, All the Goddesses of the World, Rites and Mysteries of Modern Witchcraft, Coven-creating and Organizing your Own Group, Wicca for Solitary Witches, Rites of Passage – Celebrating Birth, Life and Death in Wicca, The Art of Invocation and Wicca for All.

Claudiney Prieto is founder of the Diânica Nemorensis tradition. He is an Archpriest in the Fellowship of Isis and a member of the Archpriesthood Union of FOI.  Claudiney is a high priest in the Gardnerian Tradition. He was the first man to be ordained by Zsuzsanna Budapest, receiving the title of Kourete in her tradition.

He was the founder of ABRAWICCA, the first Brazilian Pagan association, and currently coordinates the organization of the annual  Wicca & Spirituality of the Goddess Conference in Brazil , the largest pagan event in Latin America, with national and international scope.

He is the creator and coordinator of the Free University of Pagan Studies (UNILEP), the first online school in Brazil dedicated exclusively to the study of Wicca and paganism through the Distance education system (EAD).

In 2014, Claudiney created the World Goddess Day Project (http://www.worldgoddesday.com/), for the purpose of gathering people around the planet to grant the great Mother of the world a day of visibility and to share the many myths, stories and diversity of worship of the goddess.
